Who we are
Alain Mestat Managing Partner
Alain has more than 25 years experience within the wealth management industry. For 13 years he was a Director with the Edmond de Rothschild Group. Prior to this Alain was Founder and Managing Director of Advena Management, one of the first multi family offices in the US exclusively catering for the US needs of Middle Eastern families. Alain has extensive qualifications in the field of Art & Finance, having set up in 2001 the Ariane de Rothschild Prize, a contemporary art competition promoting the talents of new emerging European artists. While studying in the US, Alain set up Mestat Works of Art, an Art consultancy boutique promoting young European artists. He is an active member of PAIAM and currently acting at the President of the Luxembourg Art & Finance Association. Alain has a Bachelor and a Masters from Brandeis University in International Economic and Finance. He is also a graduate of INSEAD.
Jeanne Bastien Advisor
Jeanne has a long experience in Fixed Income products. After her studies at Neoma Business School in Reims, she started as an interest rate trader at Lehman Brothers. She joined Credit Suisse in Paris in 2003 as Head of interest rates sales, covering institutions in France and Benelux. After 20 successful years in finance, she decided in 2014 to give a new direction to her career mixing her passion for Contemporary Art to her experience in Finance. After a professional Master in Art Market and courses at Ecole du Louvre, she worked at Friends of Palais de Tokyo to develop their private patrons. She is now Secretary General of this association. She also collaborates with Family offices to advise their clients on their Contemporary Art investments.
